Privacy Policy

uAlarm is an alarm clock that wakes you up by asking you to complete a mission. We designed uAlarm so that information that does not need to leave your device stays on your device. This page explains exactly what that means: what lives on your phone, the small amount we store when you choose to sign in, and how to delete everything.
1. Information stored on your device
Almost everything uAlarm knows about you is kept locally on your phone and nowhere else:
- Your alarms and their schedules
- The missions you pick and their difficulty settings
- Snooze preferences
- Your chosen alarm sounds and wallpaper themes
- Your wake-up history, streaks, and analytics
- Mission progress during a ring
None of this is uploaded to us. If you delete the app, this information is removed along with it.
2. Camera and mission verification
Some missions use your camera: exercise missions (push-ups, squats, jumping jacks) and the photo object hunt. Verification runs entirely on your device — on-device machine learning analyzes your movement to count repetitions, and on-device image analysis recognizes the object you photograph.
Camera frames, video, and movement data never leave your phone. They are not uploaded, not stored, and not seen by anyone — not by us, and not by any cloud service. The analysis happens in the moment, on the device, and is discarded when the mission ends.
3. Motion and activity
Shake and step missions use your phone's built-in motion sensors. Like the camera missions, this happens on-device: sensor readings are used only to check that you completed the mission and are not collected or transmitted.
4. Account information
You can use uAlarm without any account at all. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive and store the account identifier, name, email address, and basic profile information that your sign-in provider shares with us. We use this only to authenticate you and operate your account. Our backend runs on Supabase.
5. Content downloads
Alarm tones and wallpaper themes are downloaded from our servers when you browse or select them. These are ordinary content downloads — they are not tied to an advertising profile and are not used to track you.
6. Payments
Purchases are processed by the app store you purchased through — currently Apple's App Store. We never see or store your card number or other payment details. We may receive confirmation of what you are entitled to (for example, that your subscription is active) so the app can unlock the right features.
7. Notifications
uAlarm asks for notification and alarm permissions because it needs them for its core job: making your alarm ring. We do not use them for marketing.
8. NFC
If you choose the NFC mission, the app reads your NFC tag locally on your device, only to confirm you scanned the right tag. Barcode and QR missions read the code the same way — locally.
9. Information we do not sell
- We do not sell or rent personal data — to anyone, ever.
- Camera content and mission data are never used for advertising or profiling. They never leave your device in the first place.
- No ads in the app, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.
- No access to your contacts, messages, photo library, or location.
- No analytics or advertising trackers on this website either — ualarm.app follows the same no-tracking rule as the app.
10. Service providers
We keep the list of companies that touch your data as short as we can:
- Supabase — our backend: account storage, authentication, and hosting of downloadable tones and themes.
- Apple — App Store billing and Sign in with Apple, if you use them.
- Google — Google sign-in, if you use it.
The mission verification technology (pose detection and image recognition) is a library that runs on your device. It is not a data recipient — nothing is sent to it or through it.
11. Data retention
We keep your account information only for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account erases it from our servers. Everything stored on your device stays under your control and disappears when you delete the app.
12. Account and data deletion
In the app: open Settings, scroll to the Account section, and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and the data associated with it from our servers.
By email: write to support@ualarm.app from the email address you signed in with, and we will delete your account.
Step-by-step instructions are on our account deletion page. Note that deleting your uAlarm account does not cancel an App Store subscription — manage subscriptions through your app store account. Deleting the app from your phone removes all locally stored alarms and history.
13. Security
The little we do store — your optional account details — we work to keep safe. Still, no data sent over the internet or held on a server can be guaranteed fully secure.
14. Children
uAlarm is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
15. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Because we hold so little, these requests are usually simple: email support@ualarm.app and we will help. You may write in English, Russian, or Uzbek.
16. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. This policy is published in English, and the English wording governs, even though the app itself is available in English, Russian, and Uzbek.
