uAlarm ringing: a capybara video wallpaper behind the alarm time, a push-ups mission, and the Start Mission button

Built for people who sleep through normal alarms.

How it works

Out of bed in three steps

1

Pick a mission

Choose what it takes to shut it up — math sprints, camera-counted push-ups, or a barcode across the room. Set the difficulty.

2

It rings for real

A full-screen system alarm on iOS 26 — on the lock screen, through silent mode, even if the app was closed the night before.

3

Prove you're up

The ringing only stops when the mission is done. By then you're standing, thinking, awake — and your streak grows by one.

AI verification

Your alarm doesn't trust you. AI checks.

Tapping "done" means nothing. The camera watches your push-ups, counts every rep, and only a completed mission silences the alarm.

Every check runs on your iPhone. The camera feed never leaves the device — nothing is uploaded, ever.

FAQ

Will it ring on silent, or with the phone locked?

Yes. On iOS 26 and newer, uAlarm schedules a real system alarm (AlarmKit): a full-screen alert on the lock screen that cuts through silent mode and Focus. On older iOS versions it plays a mute-proof in-app ring backed by an escalating notification burst.

What if I close the app the night before?

The alarm is registered with the system, not kept alive by the app — it fires even if the app was closed. When you slide to stop, your mission opens.

Can I cheat my way out?

Not really. AI counts camera-mission reps on-device, steps come from the motion sensor, and barcode or NFC missions make you physically walk to the thing you registered. Snooze only exists if you enable it — and it's limited.

What does the AI camera see?

The verification runs entirely on your iPhone. No video is uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone — the camera feed never leaves the device.

How much does it cost?

$6.99 a month, $34.99 a year (intro offer: $19.99 for your first year), or $69.99 once — yours for life. No free-trial tricks.

Is there an Android version?

It's in the works — the whole app is built to run on both platforms. iOS ships first.

Tomorrow morning, win.

Set one alarm tonight. Thank yourself at sunrise.
